Travelling by Train
London: From London Paddington Station there are trains every hour to Worcester. The journey time varies according to which train you get, but is about 2 hours.
Birmingham: There are trains every 20-30 minutes from New Street Station to Worcester and the journey time is between 40-60 minutes. If you arrive at Birmingham Airport (BHX) there are trains every 15 minutes from the airport to New Street Station (journey time 15 minutes) where you can change to a Worcester train.
Arriving in Worcester: There are 2 stations in Worcester – Shrub Hill which is 1km outside the city centre, and Foregate Street which is right in the city centre, and only 100m from Worcester School of English. It is OK to arrive at either station as long as we know which one so we can meet you!
Travelling by Taxi
If you prefer the convenience of being met by a car and driver we can arrange this for you at the time you book your course. Your driver will be waiting for you when you come through from the baggage hall, inside the airport terminal building. You will be dropped at your accommodation in Worcester. The prices for airport transfers, which you can pay with your course fees, are:
- Birmingham (BHX) GBP£65 each way
- East Midlands (EMA) GBP£75 each way
- London Heathrow (LHR) GBP£145 each way
- Manchester (MAN) GBP£145 each way
- Bristol (BRS) GBP£145 each way
- London Luton (LTN) GBP£145 each way
- London Gatwick (LGW) GBP£175 each way
- Stansted (STN) GBP£185 each way
For arrival and departure you need to double the above figures.
