Travelling by Train
London: From London Paddington Station there are trains every hour to Worcester. The journey time is about 2 hours.
Birmingham: There are trains every 20-30 minutes from New Street Station to Worcester (journey time 45 minutes). If you arrive at Birmingham Airport (BHX) there are trains every 15 minutes from the airport to New Street Station (journey time 15 minutes) where you can change to a Worcester train.
Arriving in Worcester: There are 3 stations in Worcester – Worcestershire Parkway which is 7km outside the city, Shrub Hill which is 1km outside the city, and Foregate Street which is right in the city centre. It is best to arrive at Foregate Street for convenience. Hotels are within walking distance, and your homestay family will meet you there.
Travelling by Taxi
If you prefer the convenience of being met by a car and driver we can arrange this for you at the time you book your course. Your driver will be waiting for you when you come through from the baggage hall, inside the airport terminal building. You will be dropped at your accommodation in Worcester. The prices for airport transfers, which you can pay with your course fees, are:
- Birmingham (BHX) GBP£125 each way
- East Midlands (EMA) GBP£195 each way
- London Heathrow (LHR) GBP£195 each way
- Manchester (MAN) GBP£195 each way
- Bristol (BRS) GBP£195 each way
- London Luton (LTN) GBP£195 each way
- London Gatwick (LGW) GBP£245 each way
- Stansted (STN) GBP£245 each way
